Lal Bahadur Shashtri Memorial Govt. (Co-Educational) College Tanda Urmar Hoshiarpur, which was founded in 1951. As an affiliated college established on a 43-acres land, it has been providing educational services for more than seven decades. Approved by the NAAC of India, the college provides students a wide spectrum of 9 courses in 6 degree programmes. Total enrolment of students and faculty position of the college is 1,165 & 48 respectively hence offers the best environment within and outside the classroom.

It is worthy to note that the college has installed so many marvellous learning facilities to supplement the process of learning. It's home to a good library, which may be used as a source of information by both the students and faculty.
