Global Group of Institutions, also known as (GGI Haldia) is a private institute established in 1998 and approved by AICTE and UGC. The institute is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata. The Global Group of Institutions offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in management, computer applications, hospitality management, and dietetics and nutrition. GGI Haldia courses include BHM, BCA, BBA, BBA Hospital Management and M.Sc Dietetics and Nutrition. Global Group of Institutions courses are available in full-time mode only. Candidates must meet the GGI Haldia eligibility criteria in order to apply for the Global Group of Institutions undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. 

Global Group of Institutions admission to the courses is based on merit in the previous qualifying examinations and marks obtained in the written entrance examinations conducted by the institute, followed by a counselling session.The institute has a dedicated GGI Haldia placement cell that organises campus recruitment drives, internship programmes, and skill development workshops for the students. The institute provides various GGI Haldia facilities to its students and staff, such as hostel, library, gymnasium, cafeteria, sports, transport, and medical facilities.
