Global Polytechnic College was established in Amritsar, having got its affiliation from AICTE. The College offers diploma programs in various engineering disciplines and is situated on a sprawling 25-acre campus along the Amritsar-Jalandhar Highway in the Indian state of Punjab.

Degree-wise Admission Process

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: Intake: 120 seats. Mainly, the admission process will consider the performance of candidates in respect of physics, mathematics, and other related subjects in previous academic records.

2. Diploma in Civil Engineering: 90 seats. The admission process may include an evaluation of the candidate's aptitude for mathematics and physics.

3. Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering: 60 seats. Admission criteria may include evaluation of the candidate's performance in mathematics and computer science subjects.

4. Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: 30 seats. Admission might be granted predominantly based on physics, mathematics, and basic electronics competitiveness.

5. Diploma in Electrical Engineering: 30 Seats. Admission procedures may consider the evaluation of the candidate's performance in physics, mathematics, and electrical science subjects.

6. Diploma in Automobile Engineering:  The admission could be based on the candidate's assessment of mechanical principles and physics.
