GMERS Medical College and Hospital, Gandhinagar, established in the year 2012, is a well-established institution imparting quality medical education in the capital city of Gujarat and is an affiliated and approved college of the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India for a number of medical programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Located at a huge 42-acre campus, the college has a student strength of 1,200 and a faculty strength of 111. It is a co-educational institution admitting students without distinction of race or creed, providing them with ultra-modern facilities and a congenial learning environment. At the undergraduate level, it offers 6 courses in 3 programs with different medical specialties.

GMERS Medical College and Hospital Gandhinagar – offered six full-time courses. The flagship course is the MBBS, which is its undergraduate program, whereas the MD and MS are the multiple streams of specializations that the postgraduate programs of study come with. 

Admission to the MBBS program at GMERS Medical College and Hospital is based and carried out using national level admission examination.The students who are looking forward to admission in postgraduate courses are needed to go through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate, NEET-PG. Only on merit bases can students get their seats for the MD and MS courses.
