A candidate must have at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination (40% for SC/ST/BC/PHC) to be considered for admission. Admission will be granted to 75% of the successfully allotted candidate's rank and counseling through EDCET, while 25% will be set aside for the management quota.

D.El.Ed: Diploma in Elementary Education, with an intake of 200, offers admission for the course according to the rank fixed by DIETCET. Just like for other course admissions, the candidates must be Indian nationals and satisfy local/non-local status requirements.
