Government Autonomous College, Rourkela Facilities
Government Autonomous College, Rourkela has a spacious and green campus. GAC Rourkela facilities consist of several academic and campus facilities for students. GAC Rourkela hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls with medical facilities. GAC Rourkela facilities are provided for the welfare of the students so that they can utilise their time well and achieve academic excellence.
GAC Rourkela offers sports facilities as well for the overall development of its students. The facilities at GAC Rourkela include a library, laboratory, IT Infrastructure, auditorium and seminar hall, hostels, sports facilities, guest house, cafeteria, medical facilities, parking facilities, gym and alumni associations.

- Boys Hostel
The college has two boys' hostels (one exclusively for Tribal boys) to accommodate students of both U.G. and P.G. Classes.
- Girls Hostel
The college has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The staff and the students of the college may use the college library. A librarian manages the work of a library under the supervision of a teaching member of the staff.

The college has a prime body to conduct various sports and games in the college. An Annual Athletic Meet is held in the College with a lot of grandeur, inviting participation from all programs to display and nurture their talent. Further, at different times of the year, athletes from the college participate in various competitions outside and bring glory to the College. Existing sports facilities, both indoor and outdoor, such as Cricket, Football, Sprint events, Kabaddi, Badminton, Volleyball, Indoor Badminton Courts, etc., are available on the campus. The college has its own playground and a Mini Stadium
- I.T Infrastructure
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
- Cafeteria
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. The college has a good Canteen within the campus. Each year, the canteen is managed by a competing party on a tender basis.
- Auditorium
The college has a big open-to-sky auditorium with a gallery capacity of around 5000. A good-sized stage is used for various occasions like Annual Functions and other activities. The college also has a well-equipped auditorium-cum-seminar hall with a capacity of 1000. The basic purpose of this hall is to conduct Seminars, other functions, and inter-disciplinary activities.
- Alumni Associations
The college has an Alumni Association that guides students in placement through its connections.

The college has a centralised high-speed Wi-Fi system that is activated on campus for the use of the office, departments, students, etc.
- Laboratories
The college has a department-based laboratory facility for the students. The college has a language laboratory managed by the Department of English. This lab is well equipped with ICT facilities to conduct programs occasionally.

College Infrastructure
It has all the facilities that a college provides. Firstly It has Wi-Fi ,built apps, Instagram pages to help keep us updated with the college All the class room has cctv cameras A+ library cricket net practice ground football grounds huge garden, canteen. Which provides yummy yummy in our tummy.? And the maintenance is top priority as it's one of top government college in Western odisha. Cleanliness abhiyan carried out by principal every students take care of their own surroundings almost clean

The infrastructure of the college was average but was well established and equipped with all the necessary things. The classrooms and the entire compound is very clean and hygienic. The laboratories too are well maintained.

Government autonomous college Rourkela does not offer integrated Bachelor of education course to the students. There are no integrated courses offered to the students. The government autonomous college Rourkela offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses seperately. These courses are as follows

For the course B.sc which means bachelor of science to get seat in the panposh, Rourkela as its situated in the odisha as its a Government Autonomous college as its rating is also too good I suggest that is a best college and its situated in the 50
