Government Ayurvedic Medical College Bangalore was established in 1967, which is one of the prime organizations for imparting Ayurvedic knowledge in Bengaluru. Being affiliated with the CCIM the college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Ayurveda. The college has presented 8 courses under two different degrees that focus on different aspects of Ayurvedic medicine to nurture students who want to be a part of this ancient form of unbeatable healing system.

The postgraduate courses offered are MD Panchakarma, MD Rachana Sharira, MD Rasa Shastra Evam Bhaishajya Kalpana, MD Dravyaguna Vigyana, MD Roga Nidana Evam Vikriti Vigyana and MD Shalakya Tantram. These courses are advanced courses, which are presented to enhance the existing theoretical knowledge and practical experience of the studying students in different directions of the Ayurvedic system of medicine.
