Accessed on 25 February 2020 GCW Jammu is an autonomous and affiliated government college for women established in 1944 in Parade Ground, Jammu. This women’s college is set in the city of Jammu and has been imparting education of higher learning for more than seven decades. Located in a 4.62 acre land, GCW Jammu offers 51 courses and having strength of 5,755 students. The college has 93 dedicated faculties that make it possible to maintain an attractive student faculty ratio. Recognised under the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), GCW Jammu becomes a suitable model of education excellence in Jammu region.
GCW boasts of facilities and infrastructure that will complement the learning process of its learners. Including over 65 000 books and a numerous collection of periodicals, journals and magazines of various disciplines, the library is an essential part of academic sources. Zoology and MCA. I must say that according to infrastructure, our college is the best college in jammu as the new block ie. maitreyi block is so advanced and we have classes which are so spacious and each class have a smart board and that building have a lift also. We have a whole separate building for library which includes a separate floors for science, commerce and arts students and we also have a separate room called as reading room. We have Nescafe and a seperate canteen in our college campus. Then we have an auditorium where all the special occasions takes place. I must say that a good infrastructure is the best thing our college have.
Yes college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment.In library all the books related to our study material were there sports facilities were also there .WIFI facilities were also there.SMART BOARDS were also there and they were all used and we'll maintained.yes all the living spaces were clean and the food was very hygienic.Also the hostel facility was also there.
College Infrastructure is outstanding. It has every facility including gym. Smart Boards , Wifi , Library , laboratories etc are also present and are well maintained. The living space is also clean and Canteen food is also hygienic and has cafe also.
