Government Dental College Thiruvananthapuram, was started in the year 1959 and it is one of the best Dental College in Kerala state of India. Like many other affiliated colleges in India it is approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI) guaranteeing the students quality dental education. The college provides education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels with student enrolment of 325. Learners sourced from different parts of the country and across the world, with 76% at undergraduate levels while the remaining 24% being postgraduate learners. The college has 49 faculty members which make the student-teacher ratio very favorable.
The college avails some crucial amenities for the learning of the students including the academic and the practical. These are among a well-equipped medical hospital which offer practical training to aspiring dental physicians.
