The Government Medical College Bharatpur is a government medical college located in Bharatpur, Rajasthan which started its journey in 2017. Being an affiliated college, it has been the National Medical Commission (NMC) with the vision to delivering quality medical education. With a total of 5 courses In 3 degree levels of undergraduate, postgraduate, and other, the college provides a number of medical courses. Spearheading the GMC Bharatpur as the director is Dr. R. Banerjee with 128 committed professional’s faculties to provide the society with the medical professionals of the future.
The Government Medical College has relevant amenities for students’ learning as well as their overall development. They are well stocked library centres that offer students with adequate medical literature and other learning resources. Also, health first aid facility is available in the institution because to take care of the first aid of the patient student community it has a health centre. These facilities make student learning environment and personal development friendly thus enabling learners to concentrate on their coursework and practical sessions.
Bharatpur GMC offers all medical courses of study at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The largest programme is the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme which is approved for 150 student intake. To cater for the learners interested in postgraduate specialisation, the college offers postgraduate courses like; MS Anatomy, MD Community Medicine, MD Pathology, and MD Microbiology. All our courses are full time with the aim of equipping our students with broad understanding and practical experience of different medical fields.
The admission field at GMC Bharatpur is very strict and admissions are offered based on merit. For the MBBS programme the admission process is via the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Under Graduate (NEET-UG), a medical entrance examination. The applicants intending to get admission in Post graduate course of MS and MD have to qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate (NEET-PG). In 2019, under State Quota, 591 marks secured a seat in GMC, Bharatpur under Government Quota in EWS Category. So with a score of 586, it is difficult for a seat in GMC Bharatpur under Government Quota in EWS Category. But you might get a Management quota seat as in
