Government Medical College, Omandurar has an excellent variety of resources to help students succeed on their academic and personal level. The library is very equipped and contains most recent edition of various standard texts and reference materials for the students. Modern laboratories in such depts. as Biochemistry, Pathology, & Microbiology provide practical training & essential services to the med. center. The college also has an auditorium to facilitate occasions and seminars to support the active college community. Apart from this undergraduate programme, the college offers several postgraduate programmes which includes; MD and MS in General Medicine, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Orthopaedics.
