Government Pataleshwar College, Masturi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College library has a valuable collection of 18636 books on diverse subjects that cater to the needs of students, teachers, and research scholars of different UG and PG level programs. The library has some reference books and reference sources related to different subjects. The library is partially automated by using ILMS (Integrated Library Management System) SOUL 2.0. Due to the huge collection and lack of manpower, the database creation of library books and other resources is under the pipeline. After completion of the library resources database, we will be able to access library books through the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). The library has a subscription to N-List (National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Contents) for e-journals and e-books. N-List provides accessibility to more than 6,000+ e-journals, more than 1,64,300+ e-books, and 6,00,000 e-books through NDL. It provides full-text access to e-books and e-journals. Every year new books are added as per the fund received by the government.

The college has a sports ground on campus where various outdoor sports activities such as Badminton, Football, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Handball, Cricket, and Athletics’. are carried out from time to time. There is a separate gym that is fully equipped with almost all the necessary kits and requirements for physical exercises.  

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. The College also has a computer lab equipped with 38 machines with the latest configuration. Round-the-clock internet is available in the college labs.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The gymnasium has a facility of the treadmill, butterfly machine, exercise cycle, multigym, etc.  

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. The college has well-equipped Laboratories in the departments of Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany and Geography.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
