Government Polytechnic Arvi was established on 11th June, 1990 to promote technical education in the rural areas of Maharashtra. It is situated in a campus of 8.27 hectares and has a total built-up area of 7153.09 sq.m. Government Polytechnic Arvi is affiliated by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Government Polytechnic Arvi offers six engineering diploma courses such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Computer and Chemical engineering. There are a total of 340 seats available in Government Polytechnic Arvi admission in Diploma courses. Admission to the Diploma programmes at Government Polytechnic Arvi is based purely on academic merit achieved in the Class 10th examination, followed by the centralised counselling process conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.
