The Government Polytechnic, Arvi offers diploma courses in the six branches of engineering. These are - Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

• The candidate must be a native citizen of India.

• The candidate must have passed his 10th class from Maharashtra State Board or any other recognised board

• The candidate should have scored an aggregate of a minimum of 35% marks in the 10th standard

• Entrance examination- The students seeking admission in the college will have to appear for the entrance examination held by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE).

• Admission form- Upon the completion of the entrance examination, candidates will have to fill out the admission form. The admission form can be downloaded online or you can get it from the Head office of the Government Polytechnic, Murtizapur.

• Document submission- Candidates will have to submit copies of the documents requested in the admission form.

• Merit list declaration- The merit list of eligible candidates will be released upon the completion of the entrance examination and document submission.

• Counselling and seat allocation- The students will have to go through the counselling process conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education and will be allotted seats accordingly.

• Document verification- Upon the completion of seat allotment, the candidates will have to go through the document verification process and after that upon paying the course fee, they will be given admission in the college.
