About Government Polytechnic, Arvi
Government Polytechnic Arvi was established in 1990 to promote technical education in the rural areas of Maharashtra. It is situated in a campus of 8.27 hectares and has a total built-up area of 7153.09 sq.m. The institute offers six engineering diploma courses viz. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & communication, Computer and Chemical engineering.
The Government Polytechnic, Arvi is approved by the Maharashtra State Board for Technical Education (MSBTE) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute is also involved in testing and consultancy services to industry, public sectors, government organisations and private contractors for rural development through community polytechnic schemes.
The faculty of Government Polytechnic, Arvi is highly skilled and provides quality education and career guidance to the students. There is a dedicated placement cell that works to provide job opportunities to students through its campus placement drives. Many students have been placed in several reputed organisations through the campus placement.
