Government Polytechnic, Bargarh is a government-run technical institute established in 2014. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to the State Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha. GP Bargarh offers diploma courses in civil engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. GP Bargarh courses are of three years duration and have an intake capacity of 60 seats each. GP Bargarh eligibility criteria for admission is based on the marks obtained in the High School Certificate (HSC) examination or equivalent from a recognised board.
