Government Polytechnic Bargarh is a government-run technical institute, and courses are offered at the diploma level. Government Polytechnic Bargarh admissions in diploma courses are offered in various specialisations, including civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science engineering and electrical and electronics engineering.

• The candidates have to apply through online mode only on the website http://skill.samsodisha.gov.in/Diploma.aspx.

• An application fee of Rs 200/- for SC/ST/Female applicants and Rs 300/- for Male applicants is required, payable online using any of the available options.

• Scanned images of the applicant’s photograph, signature, and other relevant documents must be uploaded.

• Personal details, academic details, domicile and reservation details must be filled in, and course(s) and institute(s) of choice should be selected in order of preference.

• Any edits to the application form can be made before the final submission date. After submission, no further changes will be permitted.

• After successful submission of the application, a printout of the application form and money receipt can be taken.

Government Polytechnic Bargarh admissions in Diploma courses are of three years duration and have an intake capacity of 60 seats each. GP Bargarh eligibility criteria for admission is based on the marks obtained in the High School Certificate (HSC) examination or equivalent from a recognised board.

• Seats are allotted based on merit rank, category, reservation, and preference through web-based e-counselling conducted by the Diploma Admission Committee.

• The candidates have to report at the allotted institute with all the original documents, mark sheets and certificates for verification and confirmation of admission.

• Admission fees and other charges as per the institute norms must be paid at the time of admission.

• The candidates can participate in further rounds of counselling, if any, as per the schedule and guidelines published on the website.
