Government Polytechnic Khagaria is a diploma institute situated in the state of Bihar. The college was established in the year 2019. Government Polytechnic Khagaria is spread over an area of 5 acres. The college has five departments - Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,    Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Department of Applied Science and Humanities. Furthermore, the college has a startup cell and innovation cell that works towards creating new technologies and nurturing business ideas. 

Talking about the infrastructure of the institute, the college has a computer centre that looks after the computing needs of students. The college also has a central library that houses an extensive collection of books, digital books, online resources and various other study material for students. Government Polytechnic Khagaria has a hostel facility for students. The college offers four diploma courses for admission. The admission is done according to the guidelines laid down by the BCECE.
