Government Polytechnic, Kotdwar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The Government Polytechnic Kotdwar was established in 2005. GPK is recognized by the Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee (UBTER) and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education(AICTE). It is a Government college and an affiliated college of the Directorate of Technical Education, Garhwal. It was established with the aim of providing good technical education with focus on holistic education to produce quality Diploma Engineers with human and social values and to Promote quality education across all disciplines in the respective emerging areas for the sustainable development of nation, state and society. The institute provides 1 degree and 2 courses. The degree offered is a diploma in engineering while the two courses are-Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics Engineering. It is a 3-year course and is available in full-time mode only. Both the courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The campus is spread across 5.2-acres of land and provides a variety of facilities to its students and staff. There is a library facility, first-aid facility, a cafeteria, sports facilities, technologically equipped classrooms, parking facility, a well-built conference hall, laboratory facilities, good IT infrastructure and the college also provides hostel accommodation facilities.The college also has a placement cell.
