Government Polytechnic, Kotdwar Course Admission 2024 - Fees, Date, Cutoff & Eligibility

Students can take admission in either of the 2 courses provided they fulfil the basic eligibility criteria.The allotment of course and institution in both the courses will be done through counselling on the basis of merit. The merit order of the candidates in the merit list will be based on the marks obtained. The merit order will be determined by the Secretary, Uttarakhand Technical Education Council.

Government Polytechnic Kotdwar Admission Process

• Before filling the online admission, the candidates must read all the instructions and about the eligibility criteria thoroughly and fill the online application correctly. 
• The examination fee has to be deposited through net banking/ debit card/ credit card. The application process will be considered complete only after the candidate has uploaded the photograph, signature and all other information after depositing the fee.
• Candidates should keep the printout copy of the online application safe with them for future correspondence with the council and other necessary use/evidence.
• Candidate’s admission at all levels of examination will be completely provisional. Mere issuance of admit card to the candidate will not mean that his/her candidature has been confirmed by the council
• The declaration of the rank of  the joint entrance examination polytechnic (JEEP) will be published on the website of the council. 
• The dates and times of the computerised counselling will be published in newspapers and on the website of the council. No separate information (call letter) will be made regarding the same.
• Online counselling is organised in collaboration with the unit NIC. The students can participate in counselling from anywhere where there is availability of internet.
• After filing the online options by the candidates, the admission list is also released by the NIC through the internet.
• After the declaration of the merit list, the candidate, if selected, has to confirm the admission.
• This can be done by making the payment of the first instalment of their academic fees either through a demand draft or by online payment methods.
• Selected students have to submit their original documents with two sets of photocopies.
• Eligibility assessment and document verification will be conducted to confirm the admission to the respective programmes as per the guidelines of the regulatory authorities.
