The college was established in 2008. GPT Nagamangala is approved by AICTE and is affiliated with the Directorate of Technical Education, Bangalore. The college offers diplomas in polytechnic courses in multiple specialisations. Candidates seeking admission must fulfil the eligibility criteria of GPT Nagamangala and must score at or above the GPTN SSLC cutoff to move further in the admission process. All the courses are offered in fulltime mode. Eligible candidates will then be called by the college for document verification along with other mandatory admission processes at the time of counselling the candidates are requested to carry all the required documents (photocopies along with the original) to get their seats reserved. The examination and seat allotment processes at GPT Nagamangala are overseen and meticulously managed by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB), ensuring transparency and fairness in the allocation of seats, and allowing students to secure their places with confidence. GPT Nagamangala has various facilities and infrastructure for the students, faculty, and staff.
