Government Polytechnic, Warangal is one of the oldest technical educational institutions established in the year 1956, Situated at Warangal, Telangana state. This affiliated college recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has been incubating talent technical for more than six decades. The institute is located in a small plots of 1.14 acres and has offered diploma programs for the 1,564 students population. There is also second shift availability for some courses to enable students make their choices. The annual approved intake for all courses is 1,564 But specific intakes have been provided for some courses including Civil Engineering – 60 & Electrical and Electronics Engineering- 60.
