Government Shivnath Science College provides first-aid facilities to serve different medical needs. The local district health center is just a few minutes away from the college campus and one male and one female doctor visit the college twice a month.

The college library has a prominent presence on campus. The Central Library facilitates study, teaching-learning process, and research activities at the college. It also provides a learning place for students, staff, and faculty members. The college offers a well-equipped library with modern facilities and a wide variety of literature, which has a total collection of 17431 titles, 635 reference books, 52 CD&Video, 80 journals and many more.
