Grameena Vidyavardka College of Education, Nidagundi, is a co-educational institution of teacher education. Situated in Vijayapura, Karnataka, the college itself is recognised by NCTE and offers two basic programmes: B.Ed. and D.Ed. The D.Ed. programme, also by the college, is similarly for two academic years. The same criteria exist for Grameena Vidyavardka College of Education admission into D.Ed, with selection being primarily based on the merit of the applicant based on the marks from the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination.
