The admission procedure in GTP College of Education for Women is mainly carried out through state-wide counseling. For B.Ed. and M.Ed. courses, admissions are made on the basis of rank obtained in the Ed.CET (Common Entrance Test). The college also provides a 25% management quota for these courses, offering more chances to prospective students. Likewise, for the D.Ed. course, admissions are made on the basis of Ed.CET rank through state-wide counseling, with a 25% management quota.

B.Ed: The GTP College of Education for Women has a sanctioned intake of 50 students for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course. Entry into the B.Ed course is on merit basis, keeping in view marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination (Ed.CET). The admission process is guided by the state government and the affiliated university policy. The course has a management quota of 25%.
M.Ed.: The intake of the M.Ed. programme has also been approved at 50 students. The admissions to the M.Ed. programme are made by statewide counselling based on rank obtained in the Ed.CET. Similar to the B.Ed programme, a 25% management quota exists for prospective students.
D.Ed.: The D.Ed. course at GTP College of Education for Women has an approved strength of 50 students. The admission to D.Ed is on the same lines as the other courses, with the students being admitted through state-wide counselling depending on Ed.CET rank. There is also a 25% management quota for this course.
