Gujarat Research Society, Hansraj Jivandas College of Education, Mumbai, is conferred as one of the most ambitious institutions for quality teacher training education. The college is accredited by the NAAC and affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education.

Eligibility: The admission process at Hansraj Jivandas College of Education is well-directed towards selecting the most competent candidates for most beneficial programs offered by the Institute. For the Ph.D.-Education Programme:

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Ed: Bachelor of Education has an approved intake for 100 seats within the program. Admissions are conducted as per the guidelines of the Centralized Admission Committee, Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Maharashtra. Candidates are also required to clear in B.Ed. CET and ELCT. The whole process is computerized and merit-based.

M.A. Education: Admission procedures for obtaining an M.A. in Education are also online through IDOL of the University of Mumbai. Eligibility for application requires completion of a bachelor's degree at a recognized university. Application is generally held before onset of the academic year.

Ph.D. Education: The program allows admission for 18 seats for Ph.D. in education. General requirements for eligibility for admission include master's degree in Education or a related field, with minimum percentage according to UGC norms. The procedure may involve entrance tests, with possible interview.
