Gujarat Technological University Graduate School of Engineering and Technology, Ahmedabad came into existence in the year 2017. The Institution at present is an approved Institution of AICTE, providing different undergraduate and postgraduate courses in branches of Engineering and Technology. The institution has a student enrolment capacity at undergraduate level as 134 and 9 faculty members. 

Gujarat Technological University Graduate School of Engineering and Technology has a galaxy of modern facilities that help in the growth in the academic as well as personal life of the students. The campus boasts separate hostels for boys and girls, ensuring the accommodation of out-station students. A well-stocked library is a knowledge hub to aid research and learning activities. GTU-GSET has excellent IT infrastructure; it includes the latest technologies that will provide students with an element of enhancement in their learning curves. The institute also maintains well-equipped laboratories for practical training and research purposes. While there is a facility for sports, there is also an auditorium on campus for conducting participation in extracurricular events and seminars. For the physiological needs of the students and staff, there is a cafeteria, and in case of health issues, a health centre with first-aid facilities is also available on campus.

GTU-GSET is offering a total of 6 courses in general, with further classes in both M.Tech and M.Plan. The institute offers full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programs besides a postgraduate diploma course. in Cyber Security, Internet of Things, and Mobile Communication and Network Technology . In addition, this institute offers courses in M.Tech. and PGD in Data Science. 

Admissions to GTU-GSET are mainly done through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat, making the selection process very fair and transparent. This is so for all PG courses of the institute, which are offered under heads like M.Tech Biotechnology, ME Cyber Security, ME Internet of Things, and ME Mobile Communication and Network Technology.
