This campus of Guru Nanak Dev University in Sultanpur Lodhi is the regional one. It has been providing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in different streams. This Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus seeks to admit students on merit and by conducting the relevant entrance tests. Usually, the welcome programme for the new batch takes place around August-September, which marks the beginning of admission activities for the next academic year. There will be admission to undergraduate programmes based on inter-se merit of aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English in the Senior Secondary Examination. For B.Tech programmes, admission will be based on JEE Main, in addition to inter-se merit.
For the postgraduate programmes like MCA and M.Tech, the admissions are made on merit regarding the qualifying examination or in the entrance tests organised by the institute itself. The campus should have experienced 11 courses in 8 degree programmes of engineering, computer sciences, business administration, and arts. The eligibility criteria differ as per the programme. Candidates for B.Tech programmes must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering):
Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus admission is based on the inter-se merit regarding aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, as well as English at the Senior Secondary Examination. The JEE Main score is also considered. The institute offers 120 seats for the B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and 60 seats each for Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Engineering.
The BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Sc Non Medical, BA admissions are done based on the inter-se merit of the Senior Secondary Examination. Each of these programmes has an intake of 60 students, except for BA, where the intake is not specified.
The inter-se merit of the qualifying examination is the basis for MCA admission, with a maximum intake of 30.
