About Gurukul Polytechnic, Gondia

Gurukul Polytechnic which was established in Nagra, Gondia district of Maharashtra in 2010 is affiliated college under the state. This AICTE approved technical institution provides a number of diploma programmes in engineering fields. A faculty team of four ty members believes in delivering quality technical education and preparing candidates for future manpower needs. The institute has Six Full Time Diploma Courses spread over three years to meet the requirement of different specialisation in engineering. 

Gurukul Polytechnic has several facilities that the management believes could facilitate learning to the students. Accommodating the reference needs of all programmes, the grammar school boasts neurit, compendious reference services including up-to-date references, books, and periodicals, as well as digital resource. For the practical knowledge, the college has Humanitarian educational technology Lab, science Lab and psychological Lab. In the IT front the institute has many facilities with a modern computer laboratory which has latest operating system, LAN and internet facility is also available round the clock. In terms of the physical health of the learners the college offers sporting activities such as indoor and outdoor sports which include cricket, football and hockey. Also, it has an on-campus boys’ hostel and a health centre with amenities for administration of first aid in case of emergencies. 

At present, this institute has been providing six diploma courses all of which fall under full time- Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Diploma in Civil Engineering etc. These courses cover almost all disciplines in engineering to make sure students have qualifier options to select. The programmes for each course have an approved capacity of 60 students and the total annual capacity of students is 360 for all courses. The total number of graduates for the latest year is unavailable; however, the constant annual admission to all the courses indicates the proper supply of technical professionals from this centre.

Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Diploma: This course has 60 seats and adopts the same CAP for admission based on MHT-CET-Pol results for selection.

Information Technology Diploma: With approved intake of 60 students, admissions to this course are also CAP based on their MHT-CET-Pol performance.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: This course registers an intake of 60 students on a fixed CAP admission process based on MHT-CET-Pol ranking.
