Guwahati College of Architecture, Guwahati is one of the prominent institutes of education was established in 2006 with the aim of developing architects and future urban planners. GCAP has two courses, both of which aid to the different areas of architectural education in the two full-time programmes. The professional course is the undergraduate course: Bachelor of Architecture. The approved annual intake for the course is 40 students. Another professional course available is Master of Planning in Urban and Regional Planning that invites budding urban planners.
