Halakura College Dhubri was started in the year 1991, and it is an affiliated college situated in Halakura, District- Dhubri, State- Assam. This is a University of learning and it provides different programmes for the undergraduate level of learning arts. Halakura College has the capacity to accommodate 890 students with the faculty comprising 32 students only; therefore, it offers the most convenient environment for studying and personal change. The college has 11 courses in its 2 degree programmes focusing on several strands of the Bachelor of Arts. 

Halakura College, established in 1991, is located in Halakura, Dhubri district, Assam. The college is affiliated with Gauhati University and recognised under Sections 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act, 1956. It offers undergraduate courses primarily in the Arts stream. Halakura College has a number of amenities to support the student experience, as presented below. An experienced school librarian provides general and subject-specific materials to meet the needs of students. On the physical level, the college provides possibilities for physical and sporting activities to maintain the balance that exists in our college. The Women’s Hostel, which has been among the new developments of the campus, was commissioned on February 15th, 22021A hostel built under the UGC Scheme proves the college’s general concern towards the comfort essentials by providing female candidates, as well as the college’s approach to provide safe and gender-equal PG accommodation for female candidates.
