Heera Lal Yadav Law College was established in the year 2004 at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. It is a constituent college, purely for the purpose of legal education and is approved by the Bar Council of India. This compact 1-acre campus offers two different law courses and has a total enrolment of 701 students. The faculty strength of the college stands at 8, so the ratio of teachers to students comes pretty decent. 

This college has many facilities for the benefit of students. A well-stocked library with over 1,500 law textbooks and 400 reference books, along with several journals, is open to students for study and research. The campus has a computer laboratory and specially equipped facilities such as a forensic laboratory, which aids students in gaining practical skills required for their legal careers. Other facilities on campus include those for extra-curricular activities in the form of sports facilities like badminton, kho-kho, kabaddi, and basketball courts, and those for the playing of indoor games. Heera Lal Yadav Law College runs two full-time courses in law: a three-year LLB course, and a five-year integrated BA LLB (Hons) course. The approved intake for the LLB is 240 seats, while for BA LLB, it is 120. The curriculum of both programs lays great emphasis on a strong foundation in the theoretical and practical aspects of law.
