HJ Institute of Education and Technology was established in the year 2009. This is an affiliated college situated in Haryana—a state in India. Situated at the 4th milestone from Mahendragarh towards Dadri, it deals in teacher education. The compact campus covers 0.625 acres and is approved by NCTE. Its current enrolment is 197 students and 16 strong faculty members, hence maintaining a very favourable student-teacher ratio, which provides a conducive environment for learning.

The admission procedure followed at the HJ Institute of Education and Technology is merit-based. Now, therefore, marks obtained in the qualifying examinations at the level will be the criterion for admission to the HJ Institute of Education and Technology. In the D.El.Ed course, relative merit on the basis of marks obtained in five subjects, including English and concerned stream subjects, in the 10+2 examination, will be considered for admission. For the B.Ed course, merit based on the marks obtained in the examination will be the criterion. Online counselling for admission is carried out by the institute.
