HKDETs Humnabad is a private college for Ayurvedic medical college in Rajarajeshwari, Karnataka which was set up in 2017. This college is related to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and focuses on the Ayurvedic study. The campus is 5 acres and there is only one undergraduate course which is the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. ritual and where the college add up total students enrollment in 179 and faculty members are 55 makes the college to have a promising student teacher ratio. The institution is recognised by Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), making it follow standard quality check on all its Ayurvedic educational programmes.

On this regard the college has instituted a medical facility with a first aid to enhance health of the students. Rajarajeshwari Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital is one of the five HKDETs to offer only one course, the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. This is a 5 years and 6 months full course programme that offers total training in Ayurvedic medicine. It has an approved annual capacity for this programme at 60 students, in a bid to offer quality education through narrow intakes. This unique model of delivery enables the Institute to focus on each of the students in the course and environment suited for the aspiring Ayurvedic doctors.

The Rajarajeshwari Ayurvedic Medical College admission criteria still remain as per the NEET – National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. As one of the entrance requirements candidates seeking admission into the university have to sit for the NEET examination. The college follows the admission duration as per the regulatory boards, and the NEET 2024 results were announced on June 4, 2024. 

As per the admission requirement of the college, there are some standard procedures which have to be fulfilled, such as Candidates have to complete 10+2 examination with science group separated with NEET qualification. The filter process is done based on their NEET scores and make sure they meet with the college cutoff. Though the details about the scholarships are not available but college was focusing to offer better and quality education in Ayurveda medicine to the aspiring students.
