ILM College of Engineering and Technology (ILMCET) was started in the year 2012, has been recognised as one of the leading self-financing colleges, functioning in Ernakulam, Kerala. This affiliated college, located at Techno Village adjacent to Kallil Temple, has an expanse of 8 acres of land. The institution has sought accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, popularly known as NAAC, and ILMCET is proud of its achievements. This institute is currently operating with 224 students and 57 members of the faculty staff. ILMCET provides seven B.Tech programmes which include a multitude of Engineering streams plus newly trending skills like Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, and Automation and etc.

ILM College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), formerly associated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. At ILM College of Engineering and Technology, several facilities are available to help the students get the most out of their overall development. It has appropriate and well-equipped laboratories like the Language Lab, while ensuring that its students have practical sessions. A large library requires students as well as faculty members to refer to books and journals on several occasions. Regarding accommodation, ILMCET provides separate hostels for boys and girls so that students can avail the best living options. Its technological facilities reflect the practical nature of its programmes and include state–of–the–art information technologies. To support the students’ leisure time, there an indoor and outdoor sports facilities where students can play to their heart's content. IT is also a health centre for first aid in the college to ensure that the students are healthier.

Currently, the institute offers seven undergraduate programmes in B.Tech conducted full-time over four years.
