Indian Institute of Gems and Jewellery Mumbai, is a private institute established in 2003. The campus is spread over an area of 14,000 sq ft across six levels. It offers courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Students can opt for courses in the field of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Courses offered include BA Gems and Jewellery Design and PGD Jewellery Management. 

IIGJ Mumbai is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University Pune. To be eligible for the BA Gems and Jewellery Design, students need to have completed their HSC or equivalent qualification from a recognised institute in India and for PGD Jewellery Management, students need to have completed their graduation in a relevant discipline from a recognised institute in India. Admissions are based on the performance of the candidates in recent qualifying examinations and a personal interview.
