12 MonthsPost Graduation Diploma in Hindi Journalism is a one-year full-time postgraduate diploma course offered by the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi.
Course objectives: Over the course of two semesters, the program will provide students with a broad perspective of the communication field. The emphasis will be on imparting ethics and values needed to promote a free, fair, and objective media. Students will be exposed to new and evolving techniques of reporting, editing, production and distribution through a combination of theory and practical sessions. Over the period of their course, students shall report, edit and produce Lab Journals and other publications.
Topics covered: Communication: Concepts, Processes and Theories, History of Journalism and role of the Press, Media Laws and Ethics, Reporting and Editing, Radio & TV Journalism, Development Journalism, Media Management, Advertising & PR and Digital Journalism.
