Indian Law Society Law College Pune is a government college established in 1924. It is also known as ILS Law College. The institute was earlier affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Presently, the college is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited the college with an ‘A’ grade. The campus of the institute has numerous facilities for students and faculty members. ILS Law College facilities are as per the needs of the students. For accommodation of students, the college has separate boys and girls hostels. The library has adequate books and journals. The college has all the necessary infrastructure as required by the University guidelines. There are accessibility ramps for specially abled students also. The classrooms are basic with the addition of projectors and a capacity of more than 100 in each classroom. But there are very less chances of getting ILS with this score because the closing cutoff of ILS previous year was 111.
According to the ruling of the honourable Bombay High Court and the notification issued by ILS Pune, there are 240 seats available for the BA LLB programme.
For BALLB: Candidates for BA LLB should have earned at least a 45 percent grade point average in 10+2 from an accredited board of education. Applicants for LLB must have graduated from an accredited university with a minimum grade point average of 45% (or 40% for candidates who are SC or ST).
FOR DIPLOMA COURSE: Candidates for diploma programmes must have graduated from an accredited university in any discipline.
