    Galgotias University was established in 1991 and is located at Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health (IGICH) at Bangalore, Karnataka. This affiliated college got recognition from NMC and is a dedicated college that focuses on children. Located in a 6-acre campus at SIDDIAPURA Police Station and NIMHANS, our IGICH Bangalore comprises Postgraduate medical courses. Currently, student intakes have been registered at 88 and faculty is at 30, which offers density of learning amongst studentDIY pediatricians and child health specialists.

    The institute has ample of amenities that are used to enhance the practical teaching and its medical facilities. As part of the Infrastructure, IGICH contains a health center complete with.instrumenta.pp for administering first aid to students in case of emergencies. The library which has one of the richest book collections in the region could be singled out; it contains numerous books concerning the child healthcare services. To prepare students interested in the medical field, the college provides departmental facilities to perform exercises and develop experience in sectional and different pediatric aspects. The campus also has advanced IT facilities to support the needs of the student, so they are updated with current technological advancement in the fields of medical research. For the sake of facilitating students into having a balanced lifestyle, IGICH avails all through sporting activities. 

    IGICH Bangalore provides a limited set of postgraduate medical courses, all of which are oriented on child health. The institute currently provides four specialized programs: The qualification includes: MD Paediatrics, MCh Paediatric surgery, Diploma in child health and BSc Mlt (Medical laboratory technology). These courses are meant to set out well trained personnel in different areas of pediatricIAN care. The MD Paediatrics program which is the flagship course has an approved student capacities of 22 students indicating the fact that the institute offers limited number of seats of high quality education. The M.Ch Paediatric Surgery program offers 8 seats and the Diploma in Child Health offers 3 seats only. The complete number of students in all the programmes offered in the institute sums up to 88, an aspect which show that the institute prioritizes on unique, quality education while training students in specialized pediatrics.
