Indira Institute of Management Sciences, Nanded, popularly known as IIMS Nanded, was established in the year 2008. The location of this affiliated college is at Vishnupuri, Nanded, Maharashtra. For more than a decade, it has been developing the future of many management and computer application aspirants. It provides a co-educational environment on this compact 1-acre campus and has been approved by AICTE. The institute currently has a total enrolment of 76 students with a faculty strength of 20, thereby maintaining a very encouraging student-to-faculty ratio.

Indira Institute of Management Sciences is affiliated with Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. The institution is proud to have various facilities to provide an enriched learning environment for its students. The well-maintained library is a knowledge centre and is adequately supplied with the latest reference books and textbooks on management, primarily for MBA students. In order to acquire practical knowledge, Indira Institute of Management Sciences Nanded has a state-of-the-art computer laboratory comprising the latest branded computers, motivating the students towards active research and analysis. The institute also offers separate hostels for boys and girls in order to give them a comfortable stay especially for students who come from outstations. IIMS Nanded offers two regular postgraduate programs. Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). The sanctioned intake for the MBA program is 120 seats, and that of the MCA programme is 60 seats, adding to a total of 180 for both. These courses are oriented toward making students competent in management and information technology, both being highly competitive fields.

IIMS, Nanded offers admission based on entrance examinations. The admission to the MBA course is based on the Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test. It also accepts MHT CET results for admission in its courses in MBA and MCA.
