Indus College of Education, Rohtak Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college library is well equipped in terms of the number of books, back volumes and current journals subscribed. All the new students are introduced to the library collections and services. The rules and regulations are instructed to them during the orientation programme. 

The institution’s computerised Library has a unique and extensive collection of books concerning various aspects of Education, along with nationally acclaimed educational journals, Periodicals, surveys, ready references, encyclopaedias, theses, magazines, CD-ROMs, & Newspapers. These resources are upgraded every year, and subscriptions are renewed for educational journals of national and international acclaim. The Library has a Book Bank which provides the students with textbooks for almost all the subjects for the complete course duration.

Reading Materials have been shelved very conveniently for ease of reference. Library Staff members are always available to help students and staff alike. Materials are issued on a fortnightly basis to students and on an annual basis to faculty members. Overdue charges should be enquired at the checkout counter while issuing reading materials. The Library has a Reading Room having sitting capacity of over 70 students with a huge collection of reference books and magazines. Daily Newspapers are also readily available for reading.

The college considering the recreational and sports needs of the students, well equipped Sports Room in the college. Initially, Table-Tennis, Carom-Board, and Chess were provided in it. Besides these, the students have been given the opportunities to work on exercise machines like rollers, cycles, etc., for the development of sound health and body. 

In order to keep our young talents full of life and vigour, we encourage and organize lots of sports activities in the college. The list includes cricket, football, badminton, softball, and many more. The institute organizes sports events every year for the students. We believe in healthy hearts and strong minds.

The college has well furnished multipurpose hall with a seating capacity of 150 students.

Science Lab

The Lab is equipped with various models and different types of apparatus testing materials. Our physical chemistry Bio technologies Laboratories have all the equipment in sufficient quantity so that each pupil teacher can perform their practical individually.

Language Lab

Language laboratories, along with the social studies lab, are highlighted for the institution as they are equipped with materials presented by the NCTE.

Educational Technologies and Audiovisual and aids Lab 

This lab containing overhead Projector, a slide projector (Manual & Automatic) Epidiascope, a  DVD Player, a TV & PA System.

SS Lab 

This lab consists Atlas of India and Maps of India, andthe world. 

TA Lab

This lab contains different charts and models that are helpful in different teaching papers 

Chalkboard Writing Lab :

Containing about 20 Black Board and Superior quality Simple and colored chalk.

Gardening Lab :

Containing pots of different sizes and coloration & gardening instruments like Kassi, Khurpa, Tasla, and different-sized paint brushes.

Art & Craft Lab and Math Lab.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The College has spacious, architecturally designed lecture and tutorial rooms, airy and electric gadgets, glossy chalkboard,s and flannel boards all intact, furnished with adequate modern furniture.

The College has a transport facility. For the convenience of the students bus facility is also provided, which picks and drops the students from various stops in their city.

The college has a boys’ hostel facility, which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a girls' hostel facility, which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facility for visiting faculty and student family members.
