Institute of Forensic Science and Criminology was recognised in 2009 which is an affiliated college of the Panjab University, Chandigarh. This is specialised premier institute situated in the capital city of Chandigarh that proffers higher learning in the narrowest of specialisations, Forensic Science and Criminology. The institute is a relatively young centre for forensic education however, it provides postgraduate and doctoral study.
