Hi,
Yes, There is whole lot of a strict dress code in IHM Pusa for both ladies and gentlemens.
For Kitchen - it is white chef coat, apron, neckerchief, and a checkered trousers with chef cap. It is same for both, only, ladies have to wear hair net too after that ched cap.
F&B Service: For boys it's black trousers, white shirt, black bow tie and a black apron. And for girls it is black pencil skirt, black stockings, white shirt, black apron and black bow tie.
Front Office: Black trousers and white shirt with black blazer for both. Boys need to wear a black tie and girls wear a maroon cravat.
Housekeeping: White shirt and trousers for boys with white apron and white salwar kameez with white apron for girls.
The theory classes uniform remain black trousers and white shirt for both.
Shoes for boys should be black Oxford shoes. And girls wear black bellies and Oxford shoes just for kitchen classes.
Hope this helps.
Hi,
There's nothing bad about IHM Pusa, but what may annoy you is too strict about classes timings and attendance which is not so in other colleges like DU and all. If you have entered college at 9 AM in the morning then the gate only opens at 1 pm too for 10 mins. They keep you inside like school, you won't have the freedom to roam or attend college as per your will.
Hope this helps.
HI,
Hope this helps.

Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great. No as absolute, passing out of IHM Pusa will not make you a chef; you must specialize or gain experience by working in a hotel of any category 2/4/5 stars for 3-5 years. For any course there should some sort of experience you should gain for to expert that and that's where you should get interned and learn skills of such.
You should be confident that you are a full-fledged chef capable of managing a manpower of at least 100 people in a hotel with perfect knowledge of administration, Menu planning, cost control, portion control, budgeting, stock control, and culinary personnel training are just some of the skills required.
ALL THE BEST

Infrastructure is alright compared to a government college but some things need renovations and i have heard it is being done. Hopefully it would be completed soon and the college would have better infrastructure than before
IHM Pusa has a decent infrastructure, College auditorium is good but the classes are not that well maintained, that can be a point of improvement. Kitchens, Bakery, Restaurant of college is fine and has all necessary equipment’s to help students understand.
Infrastructure is best of IHM Pusa . It provides best quality of classrooms and practical rooms. Wifi speed is good and well - maintained . Food provided by IHM pusa is Hygienic and the living spaces is clean .
