Also, IHM Dehradun is Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Dehradun which ISO 9001: 2008 and HACCP Certified. It is an autonomous institute established under the Ministry of Tourism's Grants in Aid Scheme. IHM Dehradun which is regulated by a governing body and is registered with the state government society. The college offers good placements. Every student is given a chance to attend the interview of any hotel chain or association which they want. Students who do not get selected at once can opt for some other hotel chains.

I would suggest you to choose wisely. Both are equal competitive institutes.

The IHM Dehradun provides good placements but it doesn't guarantee that provides placements to every students. The average salary of a candidate get  placement program is 20000 per month. While highest placement goes up to 35000. Some of the major companies which come for placements are Taj and leela

If your curriculum of choice is Hospitality and Administration or Management then IHM may not be the best but still a wise option. All the desired facilities are available and study materials provided by teachers are good.

Compared to that CIHM is a better option in terms of interships and career opportunities, so as their educational environment and experienced faculties.
