Jai Hind College, Mahasamund Admission Process

Jai Hind College, Mahasamund, is a Chhattisgarh state government affiliated India-based college. Jai Hind College provides different courses in Education, Commerce, Computer Applications, and Business Administration. Jai Hind College admission process is designed to admit meritorious students to its different courses based on the rules of the state government, UT administration, and affiliated university.

The college adopts a merit-cum-entrance-based system of admission to most of its courses, i.e., for the B.Ed course. For admission to B.Ed, the college takes marks obtained in entrance test and/or qualifying exam into consideration. This makes sure that the most eligible and appropriate candidates are chosen to pursue the teacher training program, which has been NCTE accredited.

Application process of Jai Hind College, Mahasamund, typically involves the following steps:

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed: Jai Hind College B.Ed program has the approved admission of 100 seats. Merit on the basis of marks secured in the entrance test and/or the qualifying examination is considered at the time of admission of candidates. The university policies as decided by the state government and UT administration govern the selection procedure.

PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application): There are 50 seats under this program, admission may be presumed to be based on merit of the qualifying degree and possibly on entrance examination or interview.

B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): The strength for the course B.Com is 40 seats. Admission would usually be based on 10+2 level performance with weightage being provided to commerce subjects.

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): The BCA course has a strength of 30 seats. Admission would probably be based on 10+2 marks with preference given to candidates who have mathematics or computer science as background.

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration): This course, too, has an intake capacity of 30. Admission may be on the merit of 10+2 marks and perhaps an entrance test or interview to determine business study aptitude.

DCA (Diploma in Computer Applications): DCA has 20 seats. The admission standards may be on the performance in 10+2 exams and perhaps a simple aptitude test for computer applications.
