About Jain College of Engineering and Research, Belagavi
JCER or Jain College of Engineering and Research, Belagavi, is a new affiliated college established in the year 2018, prominently in the stream of engineering. As an affiliated college, situated in Udyambaug Anagol of Belagavi in the state of Karnataka, this college is just 2.5 acre in size. AICTE is an Indian government educational standard management body with which JCER is affiliated and because of this, it follows all of the national requirements. The institute accepts 423 total students who are taught by a staff of 65 committed educators. JCER has the fleet of six B.Tech programmes in several engineering domains to present the students with strong opportunities to fulfill their technical dreams.
The college has a signed policy that aims at making sure that the students get the best learning experience. JCER has its own hostel for boys and girls that is able to provide comfortable accommodation for distant participants of seminars and conferences. The campus facilities include a library which contains a large collection of books for the use of student and staff. High tech laboratories are provided for each department and this provides students practical sessions on their chosen disciplines. The college also has good facilities including IT facilities which are important in modern engineering institutions. To facilitate and assure safety of students during transportation, JCER has hired individual bus monitors for timely and safe transportation. The school has a canteen, a sports grounds, and a hall for performing arts and other co curricular activities. The college has amenities such as first aid facility in a health centre that aims to provide for every students’ health needs.
At the undergraduate level, JCER have total six full time B. Tech. programme and all are four year integrated courses. These are B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and BTech-CS and Engineering with Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The total approved student enrolment for all these courses is three hundred and sixty while for Computer Science and Engineering it is one hundred and twenty. By the offering of the specialisation of AI and ML in the college, which is oriented towards the future of the technological sector.
The admission process at JCER is an easy process that students can easily complete on their own. The engineering colleges do take into account the scores in the national or state level entrance exam as well as 12th standard.

Jain College of Engineering and Research (JCER) Belagavi is a fairly new institute for Technical Education and Engineering. The establishment, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), offers a variety of undergraduate engineering programs and MBA programs.
For the undergraduate engineering programs, JCER takes into account the national or state-level test scores and the marks of the students in class 12. For B.Tech courses, a candidate has to pass the 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics being compulsory subjects. These cutoff or minimum percentage criteria may go on changing further depending on the programs, and these are usually announced before the start of the admission process.
Application Process
The application process at Jain College of Engineering and Research, Belagavi, is student-friendly. Following are the processes involved in general:
1. Entrance Examination: Take the relevant entrance examination at either the national or state level for the program in question (engineering or management).
2. Application Form: After the announcement of entrance examination results, eligible candidates may collect the JCER application from the college website from the college admissions office, fill it out, and submit it.
3. Document Submission: Besides the application form, the candidates must submit required documents:
- 10th- and 12th-grade mark sheets

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: With an intake capacity for 360 students, JCER offers six B.Tech programs in various engineering streams. These programs are:
- Civil Engineering (30 seats)
- Computer Science and Engineering (120 seats)
- Electronics and Communications Engineering (90 seats)
- Mechanical Engineering (60 seats)
- Computer Science and Engineering with Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (60 seats)
The admissions to these programs will be based on the candidate's performance in the national/state-level entrance examination and his/her 12th standard results. The weightage to each of the components may vary each academic year and is usually announced by the institute before admission.
MBA: The MBA program of JCER admits 60 students. Specific criteria in relation to the MBA admission process are unknown, but it can be inferred that the criterion follows graduation scores, an examination entrance, and possibly an interview group discussion.

Access to top-notch athletic facilities and team's
College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of our campus was good. Classrooms were well-furnished and comfortable. Our campus was enabled with high-speed Wi-Fi. Library was good with many books, generals, and other self-study materials with a place to sit and study in a silent environment. Hostel was average. Canteen food was not hygienic but sports and medical assistance were good.
Good campus resources for mental health and wellness
College Infrastructure
The campus provides great infrastructure. All classrooms are one of the best in India. They have state-of-the-art technology. All hostels are good. The campus provides great facilities for sports like badminton, squash, table tennis, football, etc. Our college has a swimming pool and cricket ground.
Collaborative and interdisciplinary research oppertunities
College Infrastructure
The infrastructure at Jain is top-notch, with excellent hostel facilities featuring amenities like air-conditioned classrooms, refrigerator and purified drinking water. The library is extensive and classrooms are well-equipped with modern technology, making for a conducive learning environment. However, there are some issues with the drainage system and water pooling.
