Jain College of Engineering and Research (JCER) Belagavi is a fairly new institute for Technical Education and Engineering. The establishment, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), offers a variety of undergraduate engineering programs and MBA programs.
For the undergraduate engineering programs, JCER takes into account the national or state-level test scores and the marks of the students in class 12. For B.Tech courses, a candidate has to pass the 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics being compulsory subjects. These cutoff or minimum percentage criteria may go on changing further depending on the programs, and these are usually announced before the start of the admission process.

Teachers in our college were well-qualified, experienced, and had good knowledge of the subject. They used different techniques to teach students. The course curriculum was relevant and made students job ready. Semester exams were averagely difficult but all students pass the exam. Students need to study whole year to pass exams easily.
All teachers are great. They provide practical experience. Their teaching methods are case-based. They make students think about every situation. They conduct quizzes during the first year. We have to study every day to pass exams.
The faculty members are highly qualified, with many holding Ph.D. degrees. The curriculum is contemporary and application-oriented, aligning with industry demands. The institution's renowned case-based learning approach ensures students receive practical insights into real-world scenarios. However, the rigorous evaluation process, including challenging exams, covers multiple subjects in a short time.
