Janta College of Education, Bijnor, it is one of the affiliated colleges of northeast India and accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It offers educational courses that basically focus on teacher training. The admission process of Janta College of Education is framed so that it selects eligible candidates to offer its various programs as per the policy of the state government and universities. The college strictly follows a merit-cum-entrance based admission process for admission consideration.The marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination will be considered for admission. This would ensure that deserving students are given the chance to pursue a degree at the institute.  Janta College of Education is co-educational since it admits both male and female students.

Admission process according to degree

B.Ed: B.Ed, or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), offered by Janta College of Education, Bijnor, has 100 sanctioned intake for the course. The admission is on merit based on the qualifying marks in the examination and/or by the entrance examination for B.Ed. There may be no other criteria to select the students as decided by the state government, UT Administration, and affiliated university. The regulatory requirement on teacher education programs must be fulfilled by the candidates.

D.El.Ed: The institute has a sanctioned intake of 100 students for the program under D.El.Ed which is Diploma in Elementary Education. The admission into D.El.Ed like the program B.Ed is merit based. The admission is restricted to the applicant's marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Additional selection processes may be implemented as per the policies of the state government and UT Administration. Interested future students must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for enrollment into the D. E. L.Ed course as set forth by the college and applicable educational authorities.
