JCT Polytechnic College, Pichanur, was started in 2014, is an Affiliated College, located at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It is a Technical institute affiliated to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) offers programmes in diploma for Engineering fields. Located at Salem, JCT Polytechnic College occupies an area of 6.38 acre and has a total admitted students’ strength of 1024 and teachers’ strength of 50. The college offers seven diploma courses in different engineering fields as per the alternative interests of the technician and engineers.

The courses consist of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering; Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Computer Technology; agriculture Engineering; petro- chemical Engineering; Automobile Engineering; and Civil Engineering. The overall enrolment capacity of these courses approved by the authorities is 330 students with defined intake of each course varying from 30 to 60 students.
