I live on a campus that feels like a mini town, and i love the world class infrastructure here. I spend my days in fully air conditioned, high tech classrooms that make long lectures much more comfortable. I think the real heart of the campus is the library. I use this massive space to find every global journal i need, and it easily became my second home during exam weeks. I also visit the food court along with friends for a quick break.
The educational structure of the Global Affairs program is rather difficult but highly organized. Before enrolling for any specialization track in this program, i had acquired substainial knowledge about political science; history, and economics. The quantity of research papers and analyses done in this educational institute is high, though it may be overwhelming at first sight, but it undoubtedly has made a positive contribution towards improving my skills.
My career prospects are quite diverse here because my field itself is so broad. The Career Director at JSIA plays a huge role in helping me secure my mandatory internships across diplomatic missions and NGOs. Seeing the roles i can land in think tanks and development organizations gives me a lot of confidence. I feel this program sets me up beautifully for my future in human rights advocacy or for transitioning smoothly into a top tier global master's program.
There is no doubt that Jindal is a premium investment, and the fees are on the higher side (4 LPA tuition fees), but i don't regret paying this much. There is simply no comparison between the infrastructure, facilities, networking opportunities, and quality of faculty at Jindal with any other college/university in India. I feel that when i invested in Jindal, i didn't just invest in the degree; i also invested in myself and my professional future abroad. Every single rupee i pay here is very well spent indeed.
The campus life at JGU is just amazing! The food places literally keep us sane; we grab a bite in between classes or meet up late at night to relieve stress under the flood lights. We are always running into Subway for lunch, grabbing delicious cookies from Dohful, or visiting Bikanervala for their yummy cuisine. Since everyone stays within the campus area, there is an instant feeling of community. From exciting cultural festivals to late night discussions, this is where i'm making lifelong friends.
